Hotel Soliva - Sedrun

Location: the hotel was very close to the restaurant...

Early check-in and late check-out were accommodated; the spacious units with balconies were amazing; the breakfast options at the restaurant were plentiful; the location is conveniently close to a grocery store.

I totally recommend, had very enjoyable experience here.

The venue was set in the very central position really close to Soliva, the cable cars in Sedrun/Disentis as well as in Andermatt/Oberalppass, and the center of Sedrun. A mini-fridge-bar, an individual safe, and central heating inside the single room were handy. It was beautiful and bathroom included a bathtub.

King room we booked had a great sunny balcony, not to mention a huge terrace! 🌞.

Thank you for an unforgettable stay. Good location not far from local restaurants serving authentic cuisine. the hotel is very central and close to Oberalppass.

The room was very clean and affordable with a super comfy bed, a welcoming lounge, and a balcony, and the breakfast at the restaurant was tasty.

The upgraded room was a pleasant surprise, with a spacious layout and a huge terrace. the cleanliness and coziness of the room and bathroom were impressive. the staff was extremely friendly and always had a smile on their faces. the proximity to both the train station and the gondola ski lift, just a 5-minute walk away, was a major convenience. the highlight of the stay was definitely the fantastic sauna experience, which added to my overall happiness during the trip.

It would have been nice to have an electric kettle in the room, especially during the winter, as it would have allowed for a soothing cup of tea before bedtime. some of the furniture in the room appeared outdated, and one of the mattresses was too soft for my liking.

We got an amazing deal at Hotel Soliva! The room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable. The staff treated us like family, always smiling and helpful. The sauna was a highlight, but could be hotter.

The food for breakfast could use some improvement, it would be nice to have some homemade Swiss birchermuesli instead of the packaged yogurt.

I booked a budget room but was pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded me to a higher category room with a huge terrace. the room and bathroom were spacious, cozy, and clean. the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and always had a smile on their faces. One of the highlights of my stay was enjoying the fantastic sauna, which was just what I needed for 100% happiness. the hotel's location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and gondola ski lift. the hotel included a sommer card in the price, which allowed free access to cable cars in Sedrun/Disentis and Andermatt/Oberalppass, as well as free train rides between Disentis and Oberalppass. This added value made my stay even more enjoyable and was worth more than the cost of the hotel itself. Cons: Nothing to mention 😊.

The breakfast was a reasonable deal and the proprietor was extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant had delicious vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend!
